Description
Anderson Creek Golf Club is a Davis Love III signature design in North Carolina — his first in the state — and the work shows in every detail of this 18-hole layout. Opening in 2001, the course earned Golf Digest's 4½-star rating in 2008 and took the Best New Course in North Carolina award for that debut year. Love drew on the character of the Carolina Sandhills, framing rolling fairways with longleaf pines and natural areas filled with love grass. The greens are large, with pronounced roll-off areas and significant undulations that echo the classic Donald Ross architecture found throughout the Sandhills region.
