Amherst Golf Club, a semi-private 9-hole course in Amherst, Massachusetts, was designed by Walter Hatch and opened in 1900, making it one of the older layouts in the region. The course plays between 2,983 and 3,075 yards across terrain marked by elevated tees, elevated greens, and strategic green-side bunkers. Holes 3 and 6 present particular challenges on the greens. The course hosts an active tournament calendar, including the 2026 Men's and Women's Club Championships, the 2026 Steamboat Member-Guest, the 2026 Amherst 2-Ball Open, and the 2025 President's Cup, among others. Private lessons are available with PGA Professional Shawn Durocher and Pro Rick Durocher. On-site amenities include a well-stocked pro shop and a snack bar.
