Albany Golf Club

Rated among the top 100 courses in Australia and popular with Hole19 golfers, Albany Golf Club in Collingwood Park, Western Australia earns its reputation on the ground. Designed by Bill Anderson and opened in 1900, this private 18-hole links layout sits across coastal sand dunes with ocean views. The opening stretch sets the tone early: hole 1 is a 355-metre par 4 where a large ridge bisects the fairway in the shape of a whale's back; hole 2 is a 398-metre par 4 dog leg with a blind green, rated the number 1 stroke on the card; hole 3 is a 292-metre par 4 dog leg right guarded by a traditional pot bunker. The club has hosted the Wittenoom Cup Carnival. The Golf Shop is open 7:30am to 5:30pm seven days a week and is an official club-fitting centre for Mizuno, Ping, Callaway, Srixon, Cobra, Titleist, Cleveland and Taylor Made. The AGC Trackman Studio provides real-time feedback on swing mechanics. The upstairs restaurant operates with a relaxed atmosphere, taking bookings on Fridays from 11:30am to 2pm and 4pm to 7pm.
