Akasaka Lakeside Country Club

Akasaka Lakeside Country Club is a hillside 18-hole layout in Akaiwa, Okayama Prefecture, Japan, built around woodland and a series of ponds that vary in size and come into play throughout the round. The front nine features a standout challenge at the 3rd hole, where players must carry both a pond and trees, while the 9th is a right dogleg that wraps around a bamboo grove. Side bunkers run large across the course, demanding careful club selection and placement off the tee. The back nine opens with the 10th, a short hole regarded as the course's signature, requiring a carry over a beautiful pond. The 14th plays dramatically downhill with a pond visible far below the tee. Greens are generous in size but relatively flat, offering a fair putting surface once you navigate the hazards to reach them.
