Ajo County Club and Golf Course

Ajo County Club and Golf Course is a 9-hole layout in Ajo, Arizona, framed by the Ajo Mountains to the south, Childs Mountain to the west, and an arroyo cutting through the middle of the course. Wildlife — roadrunners, coyotes, and deer — adds to the classic Arizona character of the setting. The course is built on naturally flat terrain with elevated greens, rolling fairways lined with natural vegetation, and a design that rewards strategic shot-making. The greens are fast and small, so club selection and placement matter on every approach. The signature ninth hole is a 123-yard par 3 guarded by water and tall palm trees at the front of the green — a fitting closer to the round.
