Description
Abama Golf is a resort course in the Canary Islands, Spain, designed by Dave Thomas and stretching to 6,271 metres across 18 holes. The layout moves through subtropical plants, white-sand bunkers, and dozens of lakes connected by waterfalls. Rated 4.6 by 100+ Hole19 golfers, it has earned a place on the 2022 Golf Digest Editors' Choice List, the 2022 Leading Courses Golfers' Choice Award, and the 2021 IAGTO Award for Outstanding Service, and ranks #4 among golf resorts in Spain on leadingcourses.com. Practice facilities cover five hectares and include a driving range, chipping area, and putting greens. The Abama Golf Academy runs private lessons, group courses, and clinics. The clubhouse includes a pro shop, a sport bar open 08:00–18:00, and the Atlántico restaurant, where chef Carlos Dapena serves fresh breakfasts and lunches alongside a crafted evening menu.

Renate BergerApril 08, 2026Wunderschöner Golfplatz, Traumlage, gut gepflegt aber total unfaire Fahnenpositionen bei sowieso schwierigen Grüns. Das macht dann keinen Spaß. Schlechtes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Die 300 Euro die online verlangt werden ist er nicht wert.

Shane FahertyJanuary 01, 2026Very very slow , they need to only let golfers with official handicaps play this course , and the Marshall needs to do his job The greens are like crazy golf very quick and the breaks are like double and treble what you would normally go for Pro shop is in the expensive side @ 40€ for a glove The golf @ 250€ a round is also on the expensive side and should not be any more than 150€ incl buggy’s compared to similar golf courses in Spain! The rental clubs @ 45€ are battered and in poor condition A long Q out the door at breakfast time due to the apartments near by Staff are super friendly and nice! The range was super busy and needs to be moved around more frequently to avoid it being divot central
