25 Nasu Golf Garden

25 Nasu Golf Garden is a woodland course in Nasu, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, playing 18 holes across a layout built around two sets of tees and two greens per hole on a 9-hole routing. Water comes into play on a majority of holes. The par-3 1st opens the round, while the 2nd is a long hole where a pond cuts in from the right front of the green, demanding a careful approach. Holes 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8 all involve ponds or creeks, leaving little room for aggressive play. On the 8th, long hitters may be tempted to go for the green in one, but a creek blocks that line and forces a thoughtful choice off the tee. The greens are fast and sit with Nasu-dake mountain as a backdrop.
