21 Century Club Tomioka

21 Century Club Tomioka is a 36-hole hillside course in Tomioka, Gunma Prefecture, Japan, set against views of the three famous mountains of Kozuke — Myogi, Haruna, and Akagi — with a safari park forming a natural boundary around the layout. The terrain is broadly flat, but the course makes skillful use of natural undulation to create variety and strategic depth across every hole. Each hole has its own distinct character, demanding careful thought rather than straightforward play. Greens are bentgrass two-green setups, each with its own subtle characteristics. Combined with the tee configurations, they are designed to test the mental side of the game as much as the physical, rewarding precise course management throughout the round.
