Description
RTJ Golf Trail at Magnolia Grove (Falls) is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Alabama, set at the southern end of the state in Mobile. The Falls course is the only par-71 layout on the RTJ Golf Trail. Its 18 holes wind through indigenous hardwood and pine alongside creeks, marshland, and lakes. The course is defined by large, liberally contoured Mini Verde greens and massive cloverleaf bunkers, with several holes entirely redesigned following renovations that reopened the course in 2010. Those renovations aimed to make the course more player-friendly while preserving the integrity of Robert Trent Jones' original design. Golf Digest has listed the Falls among its "Places to Play" and recognized it as one of America's top 50 affordable courses, and Golf World Magazine readers have named Magnolia Grove one of the top 50 public courses in the country.

Scott BruceJuly 06, 2025Greens had been aerated about a month ago. They played like they had been done 2 weeks ago. This made putting more of an adventure it should have been. Although it had rained at the course the night before I was surprised at how wet the course was especially for a course with a lot of elevation changes. I liked the course overall, but these 2 areas were a disappointment. I would definitely play the course again.
