The Hole19 Majors Competition is a new, innovative golf competition where golfers from throughout the UK can compete.

Friday 23rd September 2022, The Shire, London.

The final will include a light lunch upon arrival, time to warm up on the range, 18 holes Stableford on the championship course at 3:30pm, a relaxing dinner and drinks before the inaugural Hole19 Major Champion will be presented with a specially commissioned trophy to mark their monumental achievement.

How It Works

Who can participate
The competition is limited to Hole19 Premium golfers from the UK. Don’t worry, we plan on coming to your country soon.
How to qualify
Existing Premium golfers:
- Sign up for the competition through the 'Join Competition' buttons.
- Log into your account.
- Pay the £5 entry fee.
- Play your rounds in the U.K. from July 1st.
- Play at least two valid 18-hole rounds per qualifying month.
- Strokeplay rounds only count.
- You can see your position on the live leaderboard here.
New golfers or on the free plan:
- Save 20% off Premium Pro for a year and get free entry into the Majors competition by upgrading here and using code 'majorsupgrade'.
- You will need to either sign in to your existing account or create a new account in the app.
- Once you have upgraded, you will be automatically entered into the competition.
- Play your rounds in the U.K. from July 1st.
- Play at least two valid 18-hole rounds per qualifying month.
- Strokeplay rounds only count.

How much does it cost?
For existing Premium golfers, the cost of entry is £5.
For golfers wishing to join Hole19 or upgrade, a subscription to the yearly Premium membership has 20% off and entry included to the Major competition. You can upgrade here.
When you upgrade, you'll get access to a full suite of game-enhancing Premium Hole19 features, including Shot Tracker, Handicap Calculator, High-Resolution Maps, Auto-Change Hole and Advanced Statistics to improve your rounds of golf. You can find out more about Hole19 Premium here.
Should you qualify for the final round, all expenses on the day will be covered. Travel and accommodation are not included.
If you sign up during your 14-day free trial but do not then go on to purchase the full subscription then you cannot qualify or win the prize and entry fees will not be refunded.
Competition format
The competition starts in July and the final will be played on 23rd September 2022.
You can sign up at any time in June until the 30th.
Round 1, July:
- A player's best two net scores count.
- The top 50 golfers at the end of July will qualify for the next round.
- All scores will be verified and checked before winners are announced.
Round 2, August:
- The top 50 players compete in one final leaderboard.
- During August, a player's best two net scores count.
- The top 9 players qualify for the final round at The Shire.
Final Round, September:
- Our top 9 players compete at the final in-person at The Shire Golf Club on Friday 23rd September 2022 and will be played as individual Stableford.
- The leaderboard will be live and broadcast to our community for them to follow along.
- Prizegiving and presentation of a specially commissioned Hole19 trophy will be presented to the winner.

How do you prevent cheating?

Integrity in the scoring is paramount to us at Hole19, and therefore we have strict measures in place.

If you are an existing Hole19 golfer, your scores will be automatically compared to your existing scores to see if there is anything suspicious. Of course, we can all have a day on the course where everything clicks, but if you regularly shoot mid 80’s and suddenly post a level par, we may ask you for a verified scorecard to support this round.
If you are new to Hole19, you will be required to submit more than the two qualifying rounds throughout the competition months. Again, we reserve the right to ask for a signed, verified card at any point.

Whilst we have trust and confidence in our community, we want to make sure that you have trust and confidence in us here at Hole19, so ensuring all scores are valid is imperative.

As such, any suspicious activity will result in immediate exclusion from the competition without a refund.
