Raymond Memorial Golf Course

Raymond Memorial Golf Course is an 18-hole Robert Trent Jones, Sr. design located inside I-270 in northwest Columbus, Ohio, and one of the most-played courses in Ohio on Hole19. Built over 50 years ago, the course features a distinctive innovation: twin par 3 holes, each consisting of two parallel holes with their own tees, fairways, and greens. The concept was designed to let faster players move ahead of slower groups, and Raymond Memorial was the first course in the United States to incorporate this feature. From the black tees the course plays to 6,864 yards, with additional options at 6,452 (blue), 5,990 (white), 5,171 (orange), and 3,400 yards (purple). All 18 greens are raised, sloped from back to front, and severely contoured. Sand bunkers guard the front of every hole, with most holes carrying two bunkers and others placed strategically between tee and green. Hole19 golfers rate it 3.9 out of 5.
