Heritage Golf Course

Heritage Golf Course, designed by Bob Moore of the JMP Group and opened in 2002, is a semi-private 18-hole layout in Wake Forest, North Carolina, playing between 5,053 and 7,016 yards. The course holds a 4½-star rating from Golf Digest Best Places to Play, a 4½-star rating from North Carolina Magazine (2004), and was named North Carolina's Best New Course in 2002. It has ranked consistently in the Top 25 NC Golf Courses and among the top five in the state for leisure and business play, and has been recognized as both the Favorite Course and Best Public/Semi-Private Course in the Triangle. Since 2005 it has held Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary status for Environmental Excellence. It is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in North Carolina. Practice facilities include a full driving range with target greens, an 8,000 sq. ft. putting green, a chipping green with practice bunker, and a private teaching tee. The 1250 Heritage Restaurant offers casual, elegant dining open to the public, with a dining room and outdoor deck overlooking the 18th fairway and Heritage Lake. The clubhouse bar carries all ABC beverages, wine selections, and specialty drinks.
